New publication by Jean-David Buron

As part of his doctoral project, Jean-David Buron publishes a second article in Physics of Fluids. Titled ‘Exploration of transient flow perturbations in a bulb turbine diffuser using proper orthogonal decomposition,’ it deals with particular transient dynamics responsible for sudden decreases in the efficiency of the BulbT model turbine. The study is based on modal analyses of temporally resolved velocity fields measured in the laboratory using a stereoscopic PIV system.
