First Tr-FRANCIS Workshop

On November 3 and 4, the Heki Hydropower innovation center held its first Tr-FRANCIS workshop on the Université Laval campus. More than 50 participants (representatives of industrial partners, students and professors) met for this first meeting dealing with fluid-structure interactions in Francis turbines. The Heki team and several partners presented research results based on the Jean-Lesage power plant turbine model. This meeting was an opportunity to discuss different aspects of the project and to plan the continuation of the Tr-FRANCIS project. It was also a good networking event for the students of the group.
